So, I loved it so much I came back for another stay. I started my 3 week tour of Costa Rica here in this villa and at the end of my trip I adjusted my plans and made sure to return back to Tamarindo and stay a few more nights because I enjoyed the stay that much. We are already taking about returning next summer with more friends and family. The pass to the beachfront club is a great bonus for staying at this villa. They really do take care of so many little details that are appreciated like soap for laundry, beach towels, umbrellas, yoga mats and even a beach bag! This was my absolute favorite place we stayed in my 3 week trip.

Best hotel stay ever..

The property was very pretty but staff didn’t inform us of many things about the property. So it felt like we missed out on a lot. There’s no maps available on the property so you are on your own when you get there. Very far from everything. And the food was not good at all. The food portions at the steakhouse are VERY small. I got the salmon and it came with a supper small salmon, a 1/4 of a tomato slice, a tiny piece of corn, and a single piece of broccoli. It made me giggle a little when it came out. The beach was amazing but I would recommend staying somewhere with higher rated food!!

Great setting and wonderful staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We will decide be back next year.

We had an incredible 8-night stay here for our honeymoon, and it exceeded every expectation. My wife is pregnant, so we were looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway, and this was the perfect place to unwind. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. We were welcomed with a handwritten note signed by members of the staff and a complimentary bottle of wine to celebrate our honeymoon. Halfway through our stay, they surprised us with a thoughtful baby gift, which was such a kind and meaningful touch that made us feel truly cared for. The atmosphere throughout the property was calm and relaxing, and the location was ideal with the beach just a short distance away. The beach shuttle was convenient and made getting back and forth effortless. Our room was exactly as pictured—beautiful, cozy, spotless, and very comfortable. Everything was well maintained, and we always looked forward to coming back after a day out. We also loved dining at Almar. Every meal was delicious, and the cocktails and mocktails were fantastic. Most of all, the staff made this stay unforgettable. Everyone we interacted with was genuinely kind, welcoming, and eager to make our experience special. We honestly have no complaints. This was the perfect honeymoon, and we would absolutely love to return in the future. Highly recommend!

From the time you arrive to the moment you check out you are treated like you're the only guest there. This was the best trip and stay I've ever been on.

While the staff was amazing and the property was very beautiful, the roads to get to the hotel were not paved. Not only were they not paved but at some point they (local government) closed the entrance and no one was notified. It took me contacting the hotel so the concierge could walk us through how to get to the hotel. It was not until two days later when I complained that we received a letter and a map. This was not well planned with the city. Very disappointing.
