The price is right for an overnight, comfortable stay. Huge space was a big surprise. This is a place that could be lived in for several days. It really does need a deep cleaning of the baseboards. We ate supper at chain 24 hour restaurant near by and ordered breakfast, ate half, and took the leftovers to our room for breakfast. If you do this get plastic ware with your leftovers. There is a full size refrigerator/freezer combo, a microwave, a kitchen sink, and a small coffee pot. There are no dishes or silverware.

Management cares about the customer. Wife and i decided we were too close to final destination to stay even though our stay was guaranteed Management cared enough to call and check on us. She was more than gracious and would have been a pleasant host. Thanks

I have stayed in many budget motels in New Mexico. Butterfield Stage Motel is one of the best. Although the motel doesn’t look like much from the outside, the rooms are very large and well furnished. Appear to be recently updated furnishings. It is conveniently located next to the historic downtown and the owner/manager was friendly and welcoming. Overall, very good value for a budget motel.

This is an older property so it did not have as many electrical outlets as a newer facility, but it is in good condition, it is clean, it is convenient and Cass, at the front desk, was great. It had very large rooms with a full kitchen in room #4 and it is a throw back to motels from the '50's, but still in good condition. A great place to stay.

Our stay was very nice. The young lady at the front desk was super friendly and helpful with any questions we had. I think they have been renovating the place and our room was really nice. Super clean and a very comfortable bed. The TV had lots of channels too. I would recommend this establishment without hesitation.

Not a 9 as previously reviewed.
The reviews made this place sound special. It was right next to I-10 Freeway, looked like a very dumpy motel from the outside. The room was spacious with an efficiency kitchen - microwave, extensive counter space, and large refrigerator. So, if you're looking for that, great. I was looking for quiet & comfort. I don't care about decor, but this is definitely dated... that wasn't a big deal. But, it needs to be like it is - a 6 or 7 out of 10, not a 9! I don't know who thought it was a 9 in the reviews, but really, it's much lower. Check-in was in a smoky-smelling office. No breakfast option. Not terrible, but NOT CLOSE to a 9/10.

This was an alternative to chain motels in Deming. It lived up to its great reviews! The owner greeted me upon arrival and was very friendly and helpful. I was able to back into my parking spot in front of my room for unloading and loading, which was important to me as a handicapped person. The room was not huge, but it was roomy enough for all my stuff. The bed was comfortable. If I pass through Deming again, I will definitely stay here!
