Our stay was absolutely perfect. The cabin was clean and had a beautiful view. It was so nice to sleep with the window open and hear the creek at night. We had dinner twice and breakfast at the cafe. All of it was delicious. One of the best pot pies I have ever had. The bakery items were so good, I had to keep going back for more each day.
Cabins were nice.Weather was a little rainy while we were there so we did not use the outside facilities much. We lost power for a few hours one morning which means no water, lights, and cafe could not operate. I heard that short periods of power outage are not uncommon.
Cafe was very good but very busy and had long waits to get a table.
Cabins are beautifully done, spacious, clean and they each have their own small deck - with privacy. They serve an amazing breakfast (you pay for it, of course), but the ambience and the flowers all around the property are amazing.
Our stay at McKinley Creekside Cabins was amazing. The Lodge room included all the amenities to make our stay comfortable: a full size coffee pot, full size lotions and shower gel, microwave and fridge along with comfy beds. The small deck looked out onto the property and mountains in the distance. The restaurant on site was delicious. From breakfast, to lunch and dinner, the staff’s goal was to ensure that your meals were of the highest quality. A delightful stay near the entrance of Denali Park!
You could smell the septic system from our room. Couldn’t sit on the deck because the smell was so bad.
Food in restaurant was fabulous.
Staff was great.
Everyone in our group (4 of us) found the place to be excellent. The room and bathroom were big and clean. Everything worked as expected.
The restaurant was good though food choice was a bit limited for vegetarians.
Overall, a great place to stay in Denali.
The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. It is a little bit of a drive from the park entrance. The restaurant was top notch amazing. The breakfasts were really good.
We loved the restaurant on the property. It was the highlight of our stay in the area. We ate breakfast here all of the mornings we were there and dinner one time. Everything was yummy. The cabin we stayed in seemed like it needed updating...especially after we visited our other family members who were staying in one of the lodge rooms. We were paying more money for the cabin, but theirs was much nicer. Their bathroom was normal size ( ours was tiny and smelled like urine), they had a tv (we did not), everything just seemed more clean and updated in their room. The staff was very nice and helpful. It was a good location, close to the park.
Good stay with great views, love the homelike amenities like big bottles of lotions, shampoo etc. and thoughtful arrangement of utilities like fridge, microwave, plates and silverware in the room. We would stay here again, the cafe is a good option for fresh purchase breakfast.
We loved our stay at McKinley Creekside Cabins. The food at the cafe is great and it's probably the best place to eat in the area!
It would be nice to have two chairs and a small table in our room. There was one outside but it was pretty cold so we didn't use it. We also like that it was a smaller property and it didn't have large amounts of tour bus people. I would not hesitate to stay there again!
We had an amazing stay. Comfortable. Friendly. Beautiful property. Restaurant and bakery were great. Loved the pizza place next door. Was easy get into the National Park.
Beautiful property with rustic cabin feel. Super clean and very friendly and attentive staff. Will stay again if there are openings. Book early as I’m sure they fill up.

It would be nice to have more things to do around the property without the need to drive or book tours etc…. A nice little walk up the stream /trail would be nice ,the 2ft stretch doesn’t really pass for a walk 😁
