We had a lovely stay at Talkeetna. The room is big enough and the beds comfy and large. The shower is, unusual for Alaska, not fixed at the top so you can take it down which is a plus. The centre is just a 10 minute walk through the forest and the place perfect to explore the surroundings. The owner‘s family who are originally Swiss are lovely.

We had a GREAT time visiting Talkeetna, and this Inn was the perfect place to stay. It was just off of the town center near the Alaska Railroad stop. Our room was lovely in a separate house from the main inn building itself. The family that runs the establishment were wonderful hosts. And our breakfast of Swiss French Toast with Blueberry Syrup was exemplary.

Being in an area with very limited options, we were happy to have found this place. We were driving from Anchorage to Fairbanks and wanted something on the way to rest and visit as it was our first time in Alaska. The little town is very cute. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Gave lots of recommendations of what was in season and things to come back to check out. We did not use any amenity simply slept there. We ate off site at a couple recommended places. Would definitely stay there again. Looked to have some fun places to walk around when there isn't so much snow
