This hotel is all about location, and its traditional balinesse setting, with its little ground floor villas, set in beautiful gardens all leading to the beach access. The hotel has two restaurants, three pools and the famous Ikon shopping center 5 minutes walk, along the beach pathway. The front warung is staffed with welcoming ladies and the traditional food was tasty and affordable.
The downside is the accomadation and its facilities all require renovation. We asked to upgrade from a junior suite to a superior suite. Although this suite was an improvement, it still had issues with its bathroom facilities. Im sure it would have been amazing in its day.
Funnily enough,we have now moved to a swanky hotel and we find ourselves missing it already!
Being able to dive into the pool after a walk along the beach and return to your room through its gardens to silence. It should be called the oasis hotel.
If you are not a fussy traveller who would prefer to feel the ambiance of its surroundings, and are happy with clean sheets and towels, then this hotel will suit you.We would happily return however we are hardened campers in our usual life.
