Mahapala Villas are quite comfortable and situated very close to many restaurants and shops. The Villas are in quite good condition for their age. I would recomend these villas for a stay.

Villa Mahapala - perfect!

Villa Mahapala is the perfect spot to stay. The villas and surrounding landscape is great. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Being about 100m from the beach makes it a perfect location to enjoy all that Sanur offers.

Great location. Enjoy the private pool. Food service was on time every day and breakfast choice was great. Bed comedy. Room size excellent, love the outdoor shower. Overall felt the room was a bit tired, quite a bit of wear. We still enjoyed our stay😊

We have stayed at Villa Mahapala 3 times now and always enjoy our stay. Staff are really friendly and helpful and when there is a problem they sort it out for you right away. Will probably always use these villas when returning to Sanur.

Villa Mahapala was great. The thatched roof meant the street noise was a little loud in the villa closest to the street. Perfect for families though. The kids loved the pool

The villa needs updates; water in front should flow to prevent mosquitoes. There are not many staff, and they are all too young. It seems like nobody works in the restaurant, and the bar is always empty.

Not great for young families

This was our 4th time staying in sanur and we love checking out the different villa’s. It was also our first time as a family of 4. We had booked villa mahapala as we have heard great things about it but I don’t think we will be staying there again, even though the villa itself was clean and staff came to clean every day there were a few things that were missing in our villa stay. - the pool was a only a little bigger than a plunge pool, also instead of it being tiled the bottom had some sort of rock at the bottom that was uneven and not pleasant when swimming, the pool was also 1.5m deep which is a little deep for the children and our nanny to swim in. The staff did however clean the pool everyday and was very clear - there wasn’t a full sized fridge, the place was moreso a hotel room with a pool in it, we had a bar sized fridge which wasn’t ideal as when we stay in villas we like to make ourselves at home. - there was no microwave to heat food or sterilize bottles for our baby. - no big filtered water that was provided in other villas. We had to constantly buy and hotel staff give you enough just to brush your teeth etc. about 4 small bottles a day. Overall it’s not what we were looking for, it’s close to the beach but everytime you would walk there you would be hassled by the vendors. Pros: close to the beach, we got a cot with no charge and overall cleanliness and of course location.

Superbe endroit. Les villas sont parfaites. Très bien équipées, Sdb avec double vasque, kit de rasage, brossage etc etc. Baignoire profonde, douche en extérieure. Piscine privée. Le petit déjeuner proposé est excellent et copieux, au choix indonésien, continental, américain, japonais, nous avions choisi le petit déjeuner Indonésien servi au choix au restaurant ou dans la villa. Très grand lit confortable. Tout le personnel est au petit soin et très aimable, un sans faute. Je recommande sincèrement.

Sanur Sanctuary

We loved our stay at Mahapala, staff were so kind & helpful, the villa is so peaceful, a little slice of heaven, with our own pool! Breakfast in our villa at no extra charge is just the cherry on top! Oh & it's just a short walk to the beach where we saw baby turtles being released into the wild in the morning, such a lovely sight. They arranged transfers for us from the airport & to Sanur Port at ease, great staff, great stay! Hope to return some day :)
