The place is not great for families - few amenities and they will charge you anywhere they can. $55/hr parking (only option on hotel property) and $24.99/per person buffet options is just too expensive to consider. The room itself had very few amenities - no microwave. And the deposit is promised upon return but the bank takes awhile to get it back - which they don’t disclose. They text you welcoming to the hotel asking if you have any questions, but don’t bank on a text back. Overall, it just felt too expensive and not as accommodating as a more affordable hotel like a Hilton.

Our first room showerhad no hot water and half the electric outlets did not work. Our second room shower was SCOLDING hot and you could not adjust the temp to cool it down. We did not want to change rooms again so we’d let the hot water run for about 20-30 min before getting in so we didn’t burn ourselves. Pool was nice but for such a nice hotel they should offer drink service up there. We would have spent a decent amount of money up there. Overall, it was extremely pricey but a comfortable hotel once you had working water and power.

The property was nice but I didn't understand the $250 deposit. I thought it was going to be a luxury hotel with the deposit but seem like any other hotel. Check out is too early and they couldn't do a late check out. Waited on the elevator twice due to the check out traffic and elevators being full each time so decided to take the stairs down from the sixth floor.Parking cost so much you mine as well pay for valet. Parking $47 and valet $55.

Overall good experience with the following plusses: heated roof top pool was great, beds were comfortable, room was nice with lovely view, staff was helpful, bar was nice and lobby area with fireplace was comfy, valet was great, Convenient location downtown. Room for improvement: no hot tub, booking said parking was $47/day but when checked out it was $55/day, no microwaves in the room-had to go to lobby, room was never cleaned on our 3rd day of 5 day stay, could hear neighbors' conversations as well as people in hallway. Overall, we will be back because it was an overall very good experience.

Our stay at Sonesta was great. The rooms were clean, and safe, and was in walking distance to Everything. We did have to wait pretty long for valet service to bring our car when we wanted to leave. The valet attendant was by himself but he did his best to get everyo e their vehicles. Would definitely stay at Sonesta again.
