My favorite place to stay in Denver!

This hostel is AMAZING! Always a great stay and the service is wonderful. I suggest this hostel to anyone visiting downtown.

This was my second time in a hostel. I stayed here case it had good reviews, close to Union Station, and it wasn’t far from the Greek Theatre where I saw a concert. I didn’t have a bad an experience, the staff seem to keep to themselves until you need something or speak to them. I did a shared room with four bunks. It was quiet for the most part and comfortable. The bed was comfortable, an outlet, a reading light, and some privacy with the bunk’s privacy curtain. They had some storage under the bunk which I liked for my luggage and bag. I used my own lock. Showers were clean, and they had towels. The bar had its music loud, so I couldn’t relax in the bar/lounge/kitchen. The front desk isn’t 24hrs, it closes at 2am with the bar. As a solo traveler, it be nice if they had someone there 24 hrs so someone like me would feel some security. The vibe I felt was it was mostly a bar atmosphere with a hostel. If I ever visit Denver again, think I’ll try the other hostel.

Dissapointing experience overall

The staff was very friendly, however they were very unorganized. When I first checked in, I was assigned the wrong room in my keycard. Then, I was assigned a bunk that was already occupied. This happened once more until I finally took a bunk on my own that was empty. A day later I had left some clothes in my bunk which the people working room service took and I was only able to retrieve one of those items. I have stayed at several hostels and I do not mean to be rude, but I can't help but notice that some of the staff seemed disinterested, which I am sure they can work on. One a more positive note, the hostel was clean overall and it's in a prime location which made traveling very easy.

It’s a Hostel so not much to review. Loud music outside till late. Grab a towel when you check in as some staff won’t give to you in the evening even though that’s when most people take a shower. The Pub crawl has been cancelled even it is literally advertised in the hotel, and in the email.

Disgusting and will never stay here again

Cons - Floors were disgusting. I didn’t want to step on them at all. Bathrooms and showers weren’t cleaned until my second day there. Most the staff were nice except one guy but they were rarely at the desk and available. The bathroom door broke and the solution was to duct tape it instead of fix the code. The sink was broken. Our door to our bedroom was broken and anyone could’ve gotten in. The hostel is also a bar so not only is it loud until 2am but anyone can walk in from the street and come upstairs to the hostel which I saw multiple men do. With a bathroom and bedroom door unlocked, this didn’t feel safe. The bar/kitchen area was gross and nothing looked like it’d been cleaned in months. When you put your bag/suitcase in the locker under your bed everything gets dirty because the floors aren’t clean. The first night 2 staff were in the hall building a bed frame loudly at 11pm and dropping tools and we couldn’t sleep. The next night a staff member was playing a bongo in the middle of the hallway. Pros - 10 minute walk to union station. Food nearby. Some nice staff. Quick check in/out. Curtains on beds for privacy. Air conditioning worked well in bedrooms.

I normally don’t like to leave bad reviews but people need to know a few things about this hostel. I stayed here two years ago and it was definitely a better experience then. It has gone way downhill. Every aspect from the kitchen to my bunk to the common areas and the bathroom was filthy. Garbage everywhere, the kitchen was nasty with dirty dishes and food left out. Dirty towels left in the bathroom. I found garbage between my bed and the wall on the morning I checked out, which confirmed my suspicion that the sheets hadn’t been changed prior to my stay. And the cherry on top: I’m covered in bed bug bites. This place offers incentives for leaving good reviews so please don’t trust what people are saying. I will never stay in a hostel again, especially this one. I was extremely disappointed.
