We originally had a reservation at a Hyatt House Aurora off Colfax. Do yourself a favor, avoid that hotel and area!! Don't make the same mistake we did booking that Hyatt House Aurora hotel. Colfax Ave is a very unsafe area and the manager is very unresponsive. This location, the Hyatt Place Pena station is amazing however. After cancelling the Hyatt House hotel booking late in the evening, we scrambled to make alternate hotel accommodations. We were so happy we found Hyatt Place Pena Station. The front desk staff turned a very stressful evening due to changing hotels into a very pleasant experience. The hotel is clean, the pool and fitness room is nice and the hotel offers breakfast in the AM. Hotel is quiet and parking was plentiful. Only hiccup was our key card got deactivated as a guest with a similar last name was also at the hotel and caused some confusion when that guest checked out. Our room keys were deactivated by mistake causing the cleaning crew to think we were only staying 1 night vs 2. It was quickly corrected with minimal inconvenience but overall we would highly recommend this hotel. The location is perfect, beds are comfortable and rooms all have darkening shades which was nice after a long 14 hour drive helping us get some needed sleep. Would definitely stay again.

Pretty clean but there was a stain on the couch, faint stain on the comforter and splatter stain up under the desk that hadn’t been cleaned off. There were also faint stains on the pillows and stairs in the lobby. It wasn’t the cleanest I have ever stayed in but definitely not the dirtiest either. I am very picky about cleanliness though, so most might not even notice the stains that I noticed. The place just needs more attention to detail.

The hotel has a good breakfast that was included - eggs, sausage or canadian bacon,potatoes, tortillas, waffles, yogurt and fruit. Every staff member that we encountered were friendly and helpful. The room, overall, seemed fairly clean. The sheets were clean. We find some hairs in the bathroom (sink and shower), a clipped toenail and stuff sprayed all over the picture in the bathroom. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location next to the light rail stop. The place is new and fresh with dining, bar and a full service Starbucks on site. The airport shuttle is convenient. Why would you stay anywhere else near DIA?

The property itself was nice. The people were friendly. The rooms were nice. Inside, it was very quiet. Outside was another story. You have to make sure that you don’t leave anything in your car. While we were there one customer had his bike stolen from his truck. It would’ve been nice if the property management would’ve had a security guard to patrol the parking lot and the area around.

Great place to stay near Denver airport!
We chose this hotel because it is conveniently located near Denver airport. The room was spacious and very comfortable. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant. The staff were helpful and courteous. Would certainly stay here again! We booked the 1st morning shuttle to the airport (3.30 am) and were even provided with a grab and go breakfast! Shuttles run to and from the airport every 30 min.
