Front desk clerk was nowhere to be found at check in. When she did appear she immediately asked me to wait while she wrote notes then proceeded to make phone calls. She allowed her friend to come behind the desk while she checked me in and paid more attention to him than the check in process. Then couldn’t find my reservation after pronouncing my name three different times. Have no options as to where to find food and the services the hotel offered. I was the only person at the check in point. This is a clear representation of the clerks ability to focus on customer service

The room was nice and the set up was manageable. The shower doesn’t have a door, so it got cold while in there. The shop in the lobby was out of items several times. The hotel was without power for several hours and I couldn’t find my way down to the lobby through the stairs. We had no water in our room and it was getting hot. I had to call Hyatt’s customer service number to get help. The parking garage is close, but still a walk away. When it was raining, it was inconvenient and cold. My husband got food poisoning one night and when I asked for assistance getting a bag, so I could clean it up, the woman at the desk was not very helpful or courteous. The hotel is clean and well maintained. We felt safe in the area.

The power went out, and they do not have a running generator. I had to take my luggage down from level 7. Also, there was not anyone at the front desk to assist or tell us what was going on. First and last time staying at the hotel.

I thought the beds were superb. I slept very well. I also liked the rain shower head. It was lovely, as well as the toiletries provided. They were a good quality, compared to similar hotels we have stayed at in the past. Unfortunately, although I had made my my reservation almost two weeks in advance, upon arrival, when we checked in and went to our room, we found that instead of two Queen beds, we had one King bed and a sofa sleeper. That was unacceptable. After we went back down to the lobby, we were informed that there was no room available with two Queen beds and that the sofa bed was very comfortable. I was not happy and insisted that was what I had paid for and that was what I expected. after searching the computer, she found a room with our requirements. I had been short with her and when we came back down later, I did apologize to her but, I must say, I was not happy with the situation. Then, when we went to check out at 5:30 AM on the final day of our trip....there was no power and I had to walk down 6 flights of stairs. I am a 79 year old woman with significant health issues, so going down six flights of stairs was extremely difficult to say the least. Right before the last flight of stairs, the power came back on. When we went to check out, the manager was at the desk and said she would check us out when the computer came back up and that she was waiving the $45.00 parking fee. I will wait to see if that actually happens.

HYATT added printed information on local business for guest. Before (ie) front desk, question, where is a good pizza place? Answer well Little Ceaser's is at such and such. Sometimes the person at the desk doing a fine job did not know of places to eat.

We needed to be close to the Fitzsimons Medical Campus and this property was the perfect location for us to walk to our appointments. It would have been a perfect stay except for the construction pounding that started at 7am and the malfunctioning front door that slammed into me as I left the lobby. (And the staff that watched with disinterest, failing to respond to a near serious injury to me, but promptly calling maintenance staff to fix it.)
