A good location, free water bottles, milk and cookies. However, the room was not great. Extremely noisy AC, a shower door which was not fitted correctly so you couldn’t stop water leaking onto the floor, a wardrobe with shelves in it so minimal room to hang clothes and finally a door between 2 rooms with people on the other side who decided to sing along to rap music at 6.30am. That one’s not the hotel’s fault but the lack of sound proofing is. I wouldn’t recommend or stay here again.

An enjoyable stay

The front desk specialist Marisol did a great job on both check-in and check-out. A small perk - unlimited bottled water means a lot, given many hotels don’t offer this.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. It was my first time staying at this hotel and I really enjoyed my stay. There is a fitness center and ice machine on the 1st floor. Harry’s Restaurant is located in the lobby area. Very close to everything in downtown Denver. For example, Target, 16th Street Mall, Denver Convention Center, the Capitol, etc.

The only good things about this hotel are that it’s clean, has good and friendly staff, and is in a fantastic location in Denver. My room had cheap, glued on molding that was completely peeled off the wall and lying on the floor. The handle of my nightstand drawer fell off at the slightest touch. My shower was only capable of pumping out boiling hot water. It also sprayed everywhere from behind the head. The center of the tub also looked dirty. Housekeeping did not clean my room for two days and, when they did “clean”, they didn’t vacuum. The TV hardly functioned, flickering on and off at random and not accepting HDMI inputs. I asked the front desk to send someone up to take a look and they did so immediately. The man who helped had absolutely no clue what he was doing, and unplugged the satellite box behind the TV and plugged in my PlayStation. The image appeared fine, I tipped him and he left. It was then I discovered that the TV remote was no longer working, and the TV was now stuck at an incredibly loud volume. There were no physical buttons on the TV. I thought the batteries in the remote were dead. Front desk gave me new ones. This was not the issue. The real issue is that the box needs to be plugged in, and the HDMI needs to be plugged into the box, NOT plugged into the TV itself. After realizing this on my own and fixing it, I regretted tipping the man who “helped” me. I took stock of all the issues I had with my room and regretted booking this hotel at all.
