The company took no apparent steps to retrieve a valued item that I accidentally left in clear view in the unit as I checked out. The front desk didn't answer the phone. I was able to text a bot that said that it was in contact with housekeeping, and the bot eventually said no item was found. The bot then referred me to a website where I could report a left-behind item, a hopeless task that I nonetheless complied with. All I needed was for someone to go and retreive the object, which is a basic level of service that I expect from a property that holds itself out as a hotel. The automated, minimal level of service this propery offers is a fail
