Hotel sits over the interstate and it was noisy all night. Homeless in the area, but property had armed security guard in the lobby. Can't walk to restaurants in downtown Des Moines.

Nothing necessarily unique about the property. It was very close to the Convention Center which made it convenient. They also had an airport shuttle which was extremely helpful. The hotel itself was very run down but the staff was helpful and courteous

Parking lot was closed off. We had to walk quite a bit with all of our luggage to a lot that was not close. It was raining on and off. No signs about it until you pulled up the drive. I would not have picked this hotel had I known. And I paid a steep price for it. I will not be back.
