Check in was fast and smooth. We stayed two nights. The room was clean. We were hot from the steamy weather outside but the A/C cooled the room so well that we had to turn it off. Breakfast was a nice (biscuits and gravy).
The room had a stale smell
The appearance of the establishment is worn down broken down. I ended up leaving extra early there was a lot of noise banging loud noises really didn’t feel safe
Everything was covered in ants and the staff did nothing to accommodate..

Staff was nice, the rooms were alright. Everything seemed dirty and gross and there is no fan in the bathroom and the chair in my room was all full of food crumbs/pieces which clearly means it wasn’t even cleaned well.
Upon arrival, I waited 5 minutes for anyone to appear. I even called the front desk number and it rolled to voicemail.
Once in my room, I found it musty and smelled of smoke. I went back to the front desk and advised the front desk them about this, concerned that I would be billed for smoking when I left for dinner. Their solution was to put a device in the room that vented a scent for 2 hours until I returned. When I arrived, the smell in my room was overwhelming. My eyes watered and my throat burned. I had to prop open my door and windows in 95 degree temps to try to even endure being in the room. All my clothes and luggage still smell so bad after my trip, I have to keep them outside until the smell fades.
Adding insult to injury, there were signs that no food was allowed in the rooms. I did not see this rule at any time during booking.
I was told by other guests that the a/c had malfunctioned in the inside pool making it unbearable to use.
Should I mention the fire alarm at 3A? No guidance from staff to evacuate or acknowledge it was a false alarm.
This place needs 1) maintenance 2) leadership 3) cleaning 4) updated website with their guest rules.
I'm done with this brand. I'll sleep in my car first.
Don’t walk in the bedroom in white socks. They will be nasty. Don’t ask for the room to be left alone. Things will go missing. Don’t ask for a receipt. It can’t be done.

Very dated but beds were comfortable. Within close proximity of lots of food options with DoorDash as well.
We showed up late at night with 6 people. We got a room with 2 queens and a pullout couch. No bedding was offered to us upon check in. When I went back to get bedding, I was given one sheet and 6 pillowcases and was told she couldn’t give me any blankets. The employee said she didn’t have access to the laundry room and her coworker would be there to help in 5-10 minutes. I waited 25, then tried to call the front desk. The phone wouldn’t ring through so I had to walk down there again. It was nearly midnight and had been 45 minutes since we checked in. I told her we wanted to go to sleep and wanted a blanket. She finally thought to order me a sheet and blanket from an unoccupied room. When I asked for a discount on my room they were unhelpful and said they couldn’t adjust the price because it was booked through hotels.com
