I travel a lot. This is simply the best hotel I have stayed at. An hour out of Jodpur in rural Rajastan, run by the noble Johit family. The service is out of this world and the food even better. If you want to spoil yourself in an oasis of calm in hectic India this is the spot for you. Simply a fantastic place.

The boutique hotel The Rohet House was a lovely oasis once inside the gate. The interior of the rooms was a modern take on Indian Interiors. The bedrooms were a good size. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

Breakfast menu was varied. Reception staff were not helpful. Staff in restaurant good. Basic room., musty smell in the room. A C worked intermittently. And if you want to have a nap in the afternoon forget it. Constant noise of trailers pushed past the room, making sleep impossible.

The hotel staff were excellent they kept in contact prior to arrival and met the tuk - tuk at the end of the street to welcome us. They offered chai on arrival and were able to assist with money exchange. The room was spotless and the bed was super comfy with AC / Wi-fi, the roof terrace had a great view of the fort. Breakfast was simple and just what was needed before a sightseeing day. Would recommend if anyone is visiting Jodhpur.

Room was absolutely clean. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was delicious. Great service & beautifully maintained property. Right from the time we arrived at the property, welcome by reception staff, staff at the restaurant, room service staff, security personnel…all were extremely courteous. Credit goes to the management for training its people & maintaining the property so well. Will visit again whenever in Jodhpur.

Stay was comfortable

What a delight. A beautiful property, staff was excellent. Really enjoyed the live music at sunset in the garden and the two meals we had here were really great. A true oasis in amongst the chaos of road tripping in India! Wish we had stayed an extra night
