Two pools were great, the larger king rooms were spacious! However, I have never been treated worse by a front desk staff. The 3PM-11PM crew had a guy named Corey working that was rude and belligerent, he continuously lied and tried to belittle us. I was only able to get a room change “that wasn’t available” when I booked a second room that said it was available on the Hilton App. Then the room we needed was magically available. We will avoid this place in the future due to rude staff.
We had three different rooms in two separate stays and they all had towel bars falling off.

Great location

Amazing location! The State park is across the road, not even a mile. Next door is walmart, walking distance in case you forgot anything. Only negative is no microwave in room, but they have one in lobby. Two pools. One outside, one inside heated. Rooms have lots of hooks on wall to hang things. Impressive.

Disappointing Stay Overall, with a Few Highlights

We stayed for 8 days and were disappointed by several aspects of our visit. The beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night's rest. Breakfast was mediocre at best and items often ran out without timely replenishment. Most of the staff seemed indifferent or annoyed when asked questions—housekeeping was the one bright spot, consistently friendly and helpful. The pool area is beautiful and one of the best features of the resort. However, the cabana situation was poorly managed. There were no clear markings to indicate which were reserved, and we weren’t informed about the reservation policy until day 7, despite using them several times without issue. Overall, the experience didn’t match our expectations, especially for a longer stay.

Without being right on the beach it was very close to the beach across the street. The person that checked us in was very nice but I had to ask for help at the morning breakfast. The person did help but never said a single word. I found that to be rude. The other problem was that the toilet in our room ran constantly. It was annoying.

Would stay here again!

We enjoyed everything about this hotel. We were impressed by how clean the room, bathroom, and lobby/breakfast area were and how thoughtfully designed the room was to maximize space. We arrived early and were given an early check-in and an upgrade at no charge. The breakfast selection was great. We also appreciated the location--not far from restaurants and shops and an easy walk to the beautiful beach at the state park too!
