Cobo hall video screen should have a night light
Great facility and great service. However, our room faced Cobo Hall (now called something else) with a very big video screen that was on all night long and the blinds didn’t screen out the pulsating color changes. Also one side of the room was very dark

Just odd for a hotel not to have coffee machines in the room or no ice machines. Although, asking front desk would get you ice. Fridge in room was filled with beverages if you take you pay. If you brought a lot of beverages from home, no room in fridge

Cool property and great restaurant and staff. However, the front desk and valet staff were not friendly, considerate or welcoming. For example, the alarm went off at 3 am from the previous guest and I couldn’t get back to sleep. I checked out later that morning and mentioned it to the front desk lady so that housekeeping could fix it as it isn’t a regular alarm clock. She didn’t say anything. Didn’t apologize for the inconvenience or anything. When we arrived as well the front desk staff wasn’t welcoming. Same with valet. These are the first and last people guests interact with so they require better training to best represent the brand and provide a better customer experience.
