I have been told the rooms are not available when I checked in around 7PM, and I was advised to cancel my reservation. When I ask Hotel staff to cancel on their end then they said no you have to call Expedia. When I called Expedia then they said you can’t cancel it because the checkin time has been past due and there will be penalties. Eventually the customer service representative from Expedia reached out to the front desk of hotel and assured that there will be no charges but he is not able to cancel the reservation. I am not sure why there was so much communication gap between hotel and Expedia team but this made my experience very unpleasant and also made me think twice to use Expedia in future my hotel and other reservations.

The first room that I originally was assigned to appeared to not be cleaned so well, I didn't feel safe with my toddler staying there with me. But the front desk manager had great customer service skills and didn't stop trying to help until I was satisfied with a different room. Housekeeping just needs to be better.
We tried to check in at around 2:30 pm and was told by front desk that they were over booked and if I wanted a room I needed to be standing in the lobby at 3pm and I was not promised a room. We checked in and were given keys to room . Walked in room and started to put our belongings away and we into the bathroom where there was a used bar of soap and shavings of hair on floor and wall of shower disgusting. Called front desk and he had me on the phone then called house keeper and ask housekeeper while I was on the phone if she cleaned our room she said yes then he told her I needed to speak to her then hung up. House keeper came in and I ask for spray cleaner to spray the bathroom so I could shower. She said “ we have no cleaner we’re all out”” she said the owner was supposed to buy cleaner”
She then used one of our face towels and picked up the bar of soap.
Stay was OK hotel could use work. Lots of potential. My ceiling leaked in room 130 when someone above too shower. Internet connection fair not great. Bfast was just bread options not great. Honestly just roof over head st $62 bucks a night i feel slightly overcharged for it. I express these cocerns would liked to have seen a night comped.
Hotel was very odd. Staff was freindly but not well trained or professional. Staff did not direct us where the room was, it took us forever to find our room. Hallway smelled like smoke, it was cold. Once we figured out where our room was, the key card didnt work well, after about a minute the doorlock finally activated and we could enter. Room was clean but the thermistat was cracked and the yv remote was missing its back and batteries. Had to snake our way back to the fron desk to get batteries. She scrounged around through a drawer until she found a single aa batery and another remote with two aaa batteries.
