The worst hotel stay ever

PLEASE PLEASE AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS! ESPECIALLY ON THE WEEKENDS ITS A ZOO THEY WILL ALLOW KIDS TO TAKE OVER AND IF YOU WANT RELAXING WEEKEND YOU WILL NOT GET IT HERE. Just a bunch of drunks and kids!

The hotel is nice, but this weekend was disappointing. The pool was overcrowded, with over 43 kids in it, and the hot tub, which was supposed to accommodate five people, had 15 children inside. Security was even turning people away. Additionally, the adult swimming sessions were canceled on Friday and Saturday, so we never had a chance to use the pool or the hot tub. I was looking forward to a relaxing getaway for my birthday, but it did not live up to my expectations. Staff is miserable so much attitudes, the omelet lady was the worst one.

Disappointed!!

This was my first time visiting this hotel and I was not satisfied at all no extra towels were available I only had two towels for my room of 4 it was a waiting list for more and I had to wait until the very next day …. Pool area closed at 10 for maintenance so I wasn’t able to go for the one hour that they offer adults .. AC did not work in my room refrigerator in my room did not get cold dirty socks in the hallway… never again!!!!!!!!

The elevators were very unreliable so we had to use the stairs, from the 5th floor with a 2-year-old so it wasn't terribly convenient. The door to the hotel room was really heavy and closed very quickly, I was very worried little hands were going to get slammed in the door. I would highly recommend changing this. The restaurant, while pretty expensive, had good food and the nighttime reception was a huge bonus! The breakfast buffet was pretty good, the omelet bar was a nice surprise! Many different options!

Room wasn’t clean. Pool heater was broken so water was freezing and couldn’t swim which was the main point of the trip for my kids. The pool area is very small and the chlorine levels seemed very high as when I walked in my eyes immediately began to sting and I started to cough. Hot tub was constantly overcrowded. Breakfast was decent day 1 but 2nd day it was very different, not as much care taken into the setup and not the same quality food offered as on day 1. Elevators were very very slow and took forever. Overpriced food in the restaurant. Very limited channels on tv. Overall very disappointing stay and will not be back.

Not the Best!

I usually stay at the Troy, Mi Embassy but it was a little more than I wanted to spend so I booked at the Livonia Embassy. My expectations were high because the Embassy is a great hotel but this particular one was nothing like the other. The hotel only had one working elevator, the rooms need to be updated and the pool was not up to par. The service was pretty decent but in we’ll not be staying there ever again until the upgrade it.

Felt like we couldn’t leave our room. Workers kept telling us we had to be in our room. Yet other colored folks were able to be out and walking all over. There was no breakfast food, everything was out. The pool chlorine was so strong we could only be in there for 10 minutes. The waterfall wasn’t working. And around 10:40 in the morning we had workers knocking on our door asking when we are leaving as we are packing up our belongings like we were being rushed out. We were standing on our balcony waiting for our pizza and were told we can’t do that and got a stare down from the employees. Will never stay here again or recommend this location to anyone!
