The outside looked a little rougher than the pictures, but once inside the entire place including the room looked like it was very recently remodeled. The place was spotless and looked sharp. The bed was very comfortable and the whole room was nicely appointed. I was concerned by the proximity to the highway but no need. Even in a first floor room facing that direction the room was quiet. Breakfast was usual fare and fine, clientele was business people traveling alone and minding their own business. Nice stay, no complaints,

Dirtiest Hampton Inn I have ever stayed in
Booked same day and when I arrived they said my room was not available so I was downgraded. Stated I was going to get the difference back. Did not get a receipt so I am not sure if this actually happened. Room smelled like a dog, bathroom sink was dirty and found hairs in one of the beds. Clearly didn’t change the sheets. There was no conditioner in the shower and found another hair in a towel. Very disappointed.

This is a very nice small hotel for a short stay. The staff are friendly. The hotel is about 18 minutes drive from downtown Detroit in a safe area. I would definitely return again.
