Lakita- the MVP!!!

This hotel(at least the room I was in) had the worse bed and bedding I have ever experienced at a hotel. The mattress had huge dips in it and the box spring was worn and ragged. The bedding didn't smell or feel fresh and the spread was outdated. The room was well-equipped, but dated. It just felt old and stuffy. Not the modern, fresh, and nice, Hampton Inn experience I am accustomed to.BUT, the reason why I will book at this hotel again, and the very best thing about it, is the front desk attendant, Lakita!! Her customer service, attention to detail, responsiveness, kindness, patience, and overall generosity made us not raise a fuss about all we saw as not good. She was simply amazing, and because of her, we will be back!!

The property was ok. However, I stayed five nights, and no one changed my sheets. The front desk staff were unfriendly and would not speak when you entered the door. I had to be the one to talk first. While we were eating breakfast, the doors slammed shut without warning. The trash can was inside the door, so I left my plate. One man jumped out of his seat and asked if he could get a glass of juice. In my opinion, these people have no manners

Good place near DTW
