Worst Hotel Ever
This was the worst property I have ever stayed at in my life. The entire hotel smells like tobacco and marijuana. They have blatant health code and property safety violations, including bags over sprinklers and broken/moldy heaters. I would rather sleep in the airport than in this place. When confronted about this, the property worker stated that they don’t think it smells like smoke.

Front desk is nice and welcoming. Unfortunately the hotel itself is outdated needs proper renovations. Room is dirty bathroom door broken, bed sheets have stains and hair.. regretted to try this low quality stay but it is what it is .. a lesson to learn

TL;DR - dirty, musty, damp room in DIRE need of actual repairs, not the cheap quick fixes present. Unclean bathroom, broken window, dirty furniture, outdated appliances, the list goes on. The ONLY positive experience was the kindness of the staff when encountered. Check-in was easy enough; the woman at the desk was pleasant and kind, and I made note of the sign on the wall behind her - "Michigan's Longest Continuous Hallway". She waived the $50 deposit on the room, but warned me against smoking as their alarms are VERY sensitive. The atmosphere in the room was thick & musty - the carpet, beds, linens, & surfaces were damp from humidity, most likely from either the cracked dual-pane window (discovered later just before check-out) or the overworked and rundown mildew-laden air conditioner. The overall state of the room was shocking - haphazard repairs to the cracked ceiling and partially demo'ed wall were amateurish at best. I've never seen so much hastily painted over spackle in my life, not to mention the strip of barely painted MDF spanning the width of the room on the ceiling, alongside cobwebs & dust. The appliances were filthy and many parts of the room were covered in grime. The office chair was similarly stained and coated in a layer of unknown filth.

The hotel has a stupidly long hallway to the rooms. The rooms and hallway have an incredibly pungent musty odor that's mixed in with cigarette smoke and weed smell. Cards don't work to badge into building on side doors so have to make the miles (exaggerating) long walk in the hallway each time. Loud noises from the adjacent rooms and hallways. Fire alarm goes off for almost an hour in middle of night without explanation. Changing rooms was not helpful in solving any of the aforementioned issues. WOULD NOT STAY AGAIN OR EVER RECOMMEND.

Horrible experience. It looked like and smelled like a hotel from the 60s where pirn was made. I will bet the sheets had not been changed. Mildew smelling, dirty hotel, and the firm alarm went off at 7:15am for 30min thru out the building and no one said anything. Waffle machine with no butter, or eggs, or meat. No breakfast bagels by 7:30am. No reg sugar for coffee at 7:15am Garbages filled at 7:30am. Dusty dirty and did not stay the 3 days. No elevator and had to walk up at least 15 steps with an injured knee cap. Had the testicular fortitude to say since I didn't stay, they was charging the daily price of $138 vs I think the $60. I will dispute the entire bill. Shameful. I took pics too. Of course GM didn't have a name and could not be reached. I will share this in my review.
