Hotel was cheaper. Was not expecting much. Stay was 2/14-2/17. Front desk staff was amazing. Elevators were small and sketchy. Shower had brown stuff come up when water went down. One of our daughters had a tournament all day 2/15. Left hotel around 6am and returned around 9:30pm. We were informed there was no water and it would be the next day but more than likely Monday 2/17 before they would have it back on. We could not use the restroom, wash our face or shower. We left the hotel around 9:45pm and had to to check into another hotel about 20 minutes away. Requested a refund through hotels who has now informed me they cannot reach the hotel and I will not receive a refund. I have now contacted best western to try and get a refund processed. Worst experience I have ever had at an hotel and with the hotwls app. I will probably be switching to another app to book hotels.

I entirely recommend the Skyline for a stay close to DTW airport. The room, it was good, not awesome but absolutely fine for a quick stay. (Regrettably there were smokers on my floor, but that's not the hotel's fault.) The staff, oh man! They went above and beyond to help me out when I left my jacket in the room. They found it and routed it back to the airport *on the shuttle* where shuttle driver Ali got it back to me—absolute lifesavers! Really appreciated that. Also a shout out to the night desk staff who had to deal with about 150 people (really!) in line, stuck there from snowstorms. They handled it with complete aplomb and patient professionalism. I would absolutely stay there again with confidence. Thanks, Skyline!

Excellent Choice

Everything from booking, getting the shuttle, and checking in was amazing after a very long day of travel. Room was quiet, clean and comfortable for my quick stay overnight. I would definitely recommend and stay here again if I was in the area.
