This hotel is undergoing renovations and shouldn’t even be accepted reservations! There is debris in every single hallway! The elevator was filled with dirt, and debris! We couldn’t even sleep in the bed because the sheets did not look clean! We literally slept on the couch until day time so that we can just leave!

The hotel was under construction and there was no way to know that when I booked it. The room was in good shape and clean. The girl at the front desk was absolutely kind and helpful to me when I had a little medical issue and needed a store after 9p. She made the construction aspect not really matter.

Double suite with king and 2 queen beds, separate living and sleeping spaces was spacious, clean, PERFECT for travel with 2 adults and 3 teens with adult size bodies. Double suite also had 2 bathrooms and ample towels for our 4 night stay. Full size fridge and outdoor basketball court was a hit with teen boys. Outdoor pool was not yet open for the season. When we return to Auburn Hills area we will stay here!

The couch was ripped, stained, I wouldn’t even sit on it, it was so gross. The room was overall rundown and dirty. Having a two bedroom suite is very nice- but they need to update their furniture and clean it up.

Unacceptable

Not an enjoyable stay at all. The hotel is undergoing an renovation but they should not book rooms until the renovation is complete. The worst hotel experience I've had in over 30 years. Very disappointed. Booked a 2 day stay. Had to get my room changed the first night which was only a slight upgrade. It went from terrible to poor. Checked out, didn't stay for the 2nd night. Conditions were totally unacceptable. Silver lining - the front desk was very pleasant despite the current hotel conditions.

This location is undergoing renovations so there are constant construction workers, dirt and debris on the first floor carpets, elevator smells/needs cleaning, garbage near the entrances and broken furniture (desks, bed frames, monitors, wires) being stored in the first floor hallway, so it may be unsuitable for families especially with younger children. The first floor 2 queen bed suites are more expensive than the king bed suites and some rooms may not be cleaned properly. Family member discovered that the bedsheets were not changed (found someone's jewelery when they checked under sheets near the end of the stay) and right after check in they noticed fresh stains in tub. The general manager did offer upgrade on future stay but did not acknowledge concerns re room cleanliness and provided no comment, and dismissed the safety concerns we had with the renovations and stayed firm that they are a quality hotel and that she would have us checked out if we were dissatisfied with the situation and said sorry that we feel this way. Beyond this front desk staff were often not available (or on break) and unable to help when we requested to have our family members moved to a new room instead of first floor as we were informed they had no availability. No housekeeping staff onsite for the duration of our stay. Initial check in was fine and second floor rooms in better shape. Overall hotel condition was still poor.

Property was undergoing a renovation. Our room was done and very nice. Other work in process in hallways. I'm sure in the end it will be very nice. We were without power in the morning. I don't think it was their fault but it meant we couldn't have our hot breakfast

Hotel was pretty decent, despite the renovations. The phone system was down in all the rooms so if you needed to contact front desk, had to be done on your personal cell. I had asked if a broom can be sent to the room, was told they will bring one right away. Still waiting by the way. As we were getting ready to check out, there was a power outage. It was a little inconvenient carrying our luggage along with a 6month old and a 2year old in a double stroller down the stairs. Unfortunately, even though it was beyond their control, it does dock some points.

This hotel was okay. The service was very good and everyone was really friendly and helpful. The fact that we could get a two-bedroom, two-bathroom suite was also really great. The hotel was in various states of renovation with our floor being pretty rough. There were old curtains piled up in the stairwell very little around the hotel other than a gas station and Coney Island. We also woke up to a power outage and had to navigate the hotel in the dark (our floor didn't have emergency back up lighting), coffee was sparse and the breakfast offerings limited.

We arrived just before midnight and were exhausted. We woke up to half power in our room- no lights or power on the bathroom … no sugar in the sugar bowl for coffee - no tissue in the tissue in the tissue … no breakfast available. Not a great way to wake up on Mother’s Day! I’ve never stayed in a hotel without electricity in my 40 years of life.

The listing said the superior suite had 3 king beds, but it was 1 king and 2 queens. When I asked about it, they acted like it was no big deal, but it was the only reason i booked at this hotel. There were quite a few issues with maintenance like the cover on the sofa was damaged and disgusting and there were paint splatters everywhere on the floor

There was a used razor in the shower, floor hadn’t been cleaned, stains on the sheets, food in the couch cushions. Room was a nice size and had good amenities, just dirty and gross.
