Dark parking lot at night, not enough lights. People lurking around outside. First room assigned had a door that wouldn’t close or lock, second room smelled like mold and towels in the bathroom were damp on the shelf. Room was very outdated.

Honestly, the biggest issue with this property is that it is old and just not maintained very well. Mold (possibly black mold) on the bathroom ceiling. Peeling paint. Carpet worn & snagged. As much as we’ve enjoyed staying here, it is in desperate need of updating!! Additionally, the breakfast wasn’t as nice as last time we were there…the exact same thing was served every morning we were there. The oatmeal had several inches of water on top and even after stirring looked uncooked and unappealing. The worse part was that our door didn’t close & lock when we left. We had to lift up on the door to get it to latch, which was not only inconvenient , but also a security issue. The staff was VERY nice and helpful, which is always a plus :)
