Two night stay; happy guest

Great two night stay in the Detroit metro area. When planning another trip, I will be sure to come back. Positives: -Friendly staff -Clean rooms and facilities -Warm/hot breakfast, with many options (plenty of healthy options, too). A bonus was the waffle maker with various batter options besides the normal (blueberry waffle batter, chocolate waffle batter, etc) -Kitchenette in room -Swimming pool -Laundry facilities -Workout room -Modern outdoor patios -Smoke free -Walk in shower in bathroom -beautiful dining room -very quiet environment (signs were posted, reminding guests to be cognizant of noise) -lots of lighting options in the room I wasn’t a fan of the pets that were allowed, as I’m not an animal lover. However, I’m sure this is a plus for some people. A section of the carpeting in our room was chewed up, I’m sure it was due to a former occupant with a dog. I would suggest heating the pool, or having a hot tub added near the pool. But that is a very minor issue. Thanks for a great stay!

This hotel actually surprised us. It was clean and the staff were amazing. The breakfast buffet was great. As a travel agent, I highly recommend this hotel in Sterling Heights, Mi. Our suite had a kitchen with dishes, full refrigerator and freezer with ice maker, burners and a dishwasher. The bed was comfy but a bit soft for my husband. We did not get a chance to visit the pool because we were busy with meetings all weekend. However, the pool area looked nice as we seen it from the outside patio area when arriving. The breakfast was plentiful. There was a yogurt bar, hot items that included egg and cheese omlettes, link sausages, ,potato hasbrown patties, , tomatoes, an oatmeal bar, waffle makers, of course bagels, toast and pastries. There were coffee choices and juices. The staff was helpful. It is family and pet friendly. Don't worry about temperature. The air and heat work amazingly.

Nice front desk staff, plenty of free parking, very clean. Room for improvement would be the demeanor of the breakfast attendant. A customer spilled some waffle batter on the counter and the employee was clearly annoyed, chastising him for not using it correctly and saying “it’s fine, I’ll get some water and clean it up”. Don’t want waffle batter on the counter? Don’t have a waffle maker. I felt bad for the kid.

The room was very clean. They breakfast buffet was pretty good. the hotel itself was very clean and spacious. I would have loved to have been able to enjoy the patio with the fire pit but we werent there long enough.
