I highly recommend staying here. It's very old fashioned and I love that. The staff was so sweet and inviting. Would definitely come back again!

Beautiful building but the furniture was horribly dirty, falling apart and in much need of repair. Carpets were dirty. Windows, vents and trim were extremely dusty and dirty.

What a disappointment!

The outside of the building & the grounds are beautiful. We stayed in room 24. It was very warm in the room. Windows did not open, no ceiling fan. I asked the worker there & she turned on sub par air conditioning. The room had no amenities, except a TV. The room had not been cleaned recently. There was a price tag & dust on the floor in the main room. Two bed pillows did not have cases. The window behind the TV was covered by a heavy drape. Behind the drape was a broken, dirty blind. I dropped something on the floor in the bathroom. When I bent to pick it up, the back of the sink & toilet were filthy. The two workers were very nice & welcoming. The continental breakfast was nice. But the filth & poor ventilated room was unacceptable. For $212, we were definitely overcharged. We will never stay there again & will not recommend to our friends.

Beautiful, Central, Welcoming

Located walking distance from downtown and around the corner from the free light rail, The inn at 97 Winder is a true gem! The mansion is gorgeous, filled with a collection of colorful artwork and antiques. The rooms are very spacious—mine had a bay window facing downtown—and the bathrooms are very clean. Everything that I needed was provided for; they even accommodated my late check-in and held a bag for me upon check-out. The breakfast was basic but a nice perk nonetheless. Would stay here again, and especially recommend if you’re attending a show at The Fox Theater or a sporting event.

Check-in with Denise was great! Parking was okay- a bit of confusion because we arrived early, but they allowed us to park in the lot until check-in time. The common areas were nice and I loved all the wood floors. Proximity to the arena was great. Our room was NOT AT ALL like those pictured online. It was dirty! Crud on the bathroom sink, lord only knows what on the coffee table, and we did NOT walk on the floor without shoes on because it looked like it hadn’t been touched in quite some time. Would I stay there again? No, based on the dirtiness.

We stayed in room 21. It needs a complete overhall. There's black mold on the ceiling. The floor is uneven and a trip hazard. The bed was so uncomfortable that we left at 11:30 pm and slept at home! WARNING - DO NOT SYAY HERE !!!

Must stay!

This was an amazing B&B!! The staff (I believe their names were Denise and Danielle) were soo friendly! They made sure that me and my sis knew of some of the local things that were going on and always greeted us when we came down and seen us off! I was worried that the air wouldn’t work as well being that it was an older building and we were on the top floor, but we stayed nice and cool in our room! This was also the perfect location for the Ford Field- about a 6 minute walk! 10/10 definitely coming back again!
