This hotel could be great but really struggled with customer service. From the maid cussing on the phone in front of us about how someone trashed a room to the front desk telling me they would put a time sensitive envelope in the outgoing mail and then me finding out 8 days later it was still at the front desk to the pool not being open to the grill area being left unclean and garbage everywhere to the walls in the buildings being damaged. It just did not live up to the Marriott name at all. Disappointing because if the employees were engaged in their jobs, all of these areas could be addressed.

The staff were excellent very friendly, very helpful, only niggle with the room was no bath plug and the one the maintenance man fitted didn't work.Had we wanted to use the pool the water didn't look very good.

The property was average but clean; there was a spider in the bathroom though and the bathroom was a bit tight on space. The staff were very nice and kind. I was there around 2 PM for check in and they didn't have any rooms ready yet so I went to my car to grab a bite and they came out to my car and let me know when the room was ready. Also, I wanted to switch hotels since my schedule had changed and they went kind enough to give me a full refund even though I didn't get a refundable room. So A+ on customer service. The location was not too bad, there were a few restaurants close by and a Walmart right next door and quick access to highways.
