By far the WORST hotel i’ve ever stayed at in michigan. This place had roaches, enough said. I would t recommend this place to a homeless person. Staff, management HORRIBLE. It’s right by 12 oaks mall which makes it even worse, such a nice area for a bad experience. Please be advised and stay away from this place. They did not even want to refund me when I discovered it was roaches, they wanted to move me next door, disgusting.

You Get What You Pay For

I was very disappointed with my stay. The rooms were outdated, and the kitchen was practically unusable with very poor-quality pots and pans. Although the air conditioning worked, it leaked water all over the floor. The hallways had dirty carpets, which added to the overall unclean feeling. While the price was low, the experience matched it — I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel.

The common areas the stairwells and elevators were filthy. I literally gross embarrassed to have anyone in there.

I had never stayed at a Sonesta Suites before and I never will again. It was dirty, an inch of dust on all appliances, the stove door was broken and would not close, no soap in the dispensers, the love seat had a seat cover draped over it, no fitted sheet on the bed so the sheet kept coming off during sleep, and the carpets were so dirty I could not walk bare foot. Do not stay here!

The property needs updating

Check in and check out was speedy and service was overall good. The price was very indicative of the experience. I stayed in building B. As soon as you walk in you smell the humidity and cigarettes. The couch in my room was awfully stained and made me question the cleanliness of the rest of the room. It was fine for a short stay just to sleep but I don’t know if I would be back/ if I would recommend for a long stay.
