Pass on this place.

Do not recommend. This place is losing it’s luster. Great branding but management seems to be an issue… Restaurant was closed… The coffee bar is inconvenient as it is staffed by the same, one person, who is working the desk & it was $7 for 2 brewed coffees (no coffee machine in room). The grounds are gross… weeds everywhere… grass not mowed, etc. The gym is on the third floor, and that is where you can get filtered water (Guess the code to get in). The ice machine is on the second floor. So, you get your steps in just trying to get refreshments! THE SHOWER has this asinine glass panel with a cut out that you have to reach, over the toilet, and through with your left arm to turn the water on… let’s not talk about the wet mess you will make! Also, these have to be the lowest toilets in Detroit. Finally, the squeakiest beds you will ever sleep on.

Secure, free parking lot with gate. The courtyard with firepit is a nice feature. Many bars and restaurants within walking distance and a 10 minute drive to sporting events.

The bathtubs needs some type of slip resistant material in the bottom. I got a serious injury from slipping and falling during my stay

Terrible and Disrespectful!

The people that was next door across from my room called down to the front desk and said they couldn’t sleep because of the tv was to loud and apparently wasn’t the volume was on 14 and it don’t matter and so the people from the front desk came to my room and was knocking on the door and they cracked the door said turn the tv down or yall can leave my man told them that the tv volume was not loud at 3am. That volume was like that when we cut the tv on! That was DISRESPECTFUL!!! Don’t go to this Hotel nothing was open! Just terrible!

Location was great. Very close to downtown without the hustle and bustle. We were no more than 15 minutes from places we planned to go and from places we decided to go last minute. Staff was really kind and professional but also laid back and relatable. Definitely set the tone for what we expected in Detroit.

Insect infestation

This stay was absolutely horrible. My (4) bed pillows were infested with insects and/or bed bugs. I was moved to a new room in the middle of tae night. This was room 229. I was not given any discount or refund for this catastrophe. I should have been issued a total refund.

Love the friendliness of the staff. Especially love the courtyard and the all around vibes of the hotel and rooms. Nice to feel like you aren’t dead center of Detroit but still an easy walk from the stadiums and all the sweet bars! This was our second time staying here and we will 100% be staying again!
