We visited DL to do some Troll hunting and the first Troll was right across the street - very convenient! The staff were all very pleasant and helpful and the rooms were clean. The location is great with Detroit Lake right across the street and restaurants nearby.

Location was great: right near the lake, close to a park, and near several restaurants. Property and room was nice, staff was helpful. Breakfast had a good variety of hot and cold foods.

The property was excellently located close to the lake, making it easy to go for walks along lakeshore. There were also good restaurants within walking distance. Room was comfortable and had a nice view of lake. Excellent breakfast served each morning. Good experience.

My wife has medicine that requires refrigeration. The crappy refrigerator in the room has a built in 2 hour timer. It times out every 2 hours requiring you to push a button to restart it. What a STUPID idea~!
