The crane is a very nice property that isn’t crowded. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and clean. The crane is on the expensive side though and not necessarily worth it. Food was generally good but quite overpriced. The beach was unuseable on almost all days due to the seaweed. And the hotel is located on a part of the island that isn’t close to much else so taxis were very expensive. We would stay again but only at a discounted price.

We stayed in one of the private residence suites at the Crane . I’m not sure who was at fault the Hilton or the Crane itself in addition to the owners of the suite. We had no AC in living quarters, And only portable AC in our bedrooms that barely kept it livable. I had no water supply to my bathroom sink on arrival. All the appliances were cheap as dirt.. The sofa bed was disgusting. The cushions fell inside the frame when you sat on it .The base of the beds were uncovered, and very dirty. The pillows were filled with squares of hard foam .. unbelievable that someone would think you could sleep on this. the lights around the perimeter of the penthouse lounge did not work. Many of the pictures had been removed from the walls. Only hangers hanging there. There was no coffee table to put any drinks on.. the furniture was very outdated ,uncomfortable .. cheap cheap cheap…if they try to put you in suite 5144 run for the hills!!! I can’t believe an owner would furnish a supposedly luxury suite like this and I can’t believe the Crane or Hilton did not inspect this unit and not rent it .It was disgusting and a waste of money. Ruined our whole trip.

The hotel failed to get my last name thru the Expedia reservation. Led to 30 minute delay checking in. However - hats off to the desk clerk who pressed on to find the problem. Lack of hot water for showers. AC unit did not work in MBR. Batteries dead in fan controller in living room, Door off track in MBR.

The Crane is a magical place❤️ So much beauty every corner you turn, from the palm trees to the gorgeous flowers to the most beautiful sea views. The pool are also so beautiful and so many options. This is our second stay and every detail was taken care of. We left the property to do a few excursions but if you wanted to stay on property there is more than enough to keep you occupied. The spa was also perfect,Alyssa was amazing! We had the best cab drivers, one who took extra care and very reasonable was Kirk Holder 12462872813. He went above and beyond for my husband and I. We stayed in 5133 and the views were gorgeous sea views. Beautiful resort, we will be back!

Outdated old property , some days elevator not working m last two days elevator to beach not working , when putting on shower ugly smell from draining pipes, resort very full,impossible to go to any restaurants without reservations , toilet flushing very low water pressure, breakfast charges ( cheese/ cold cuts only one limited one choice ) totally overpriced ,more than $40 US per person , one day no beach towels until 11.30 am , duirty dirty algae beaches , should be cleaned more often, overnight stay without breakfast US$ 400 ,not worth it , room clean up only everyday late afternoon, resort in bad neighborhood, sorry but with every restaurant bill they included 10% service charge but always somewhat reminded you that an extra tip should be given not under an additional 10%, I booked two rooms for a total of 20 days , breakfast area always full of black birds pooping all over.have been to Barbados many years ago, it’s now a place with the theme song , give us all your money you tourists, car rental $100 per day, it goes on and on , the resort compared to others fell short of our expectations , a request for a small later check out was denied,my bill was charged to our card one night prior to check out, respectfully g mohr

Staff are excellent and very friendly. The restaurants are very good in general. An addition of a BBQ food option would be a good idea. We were also impressed with the fitness centre which is well equipped.
