The hotel is recently renovated and is a 4 star hotel. We used as a home base for our visits to the TD Roosevelt Library and golfing at Bully Pulpit activities in Medora. Also, we drive an EV and the Tesla charger and coffee place are right across the street. Ultimately, a great option.

It was the first time I used a kiosk to check in, but all went well. Room was magnificent. All new and updated. Hot tub and pool were great to relax. Staff was very quick and helpful when I locked myself out of my room when checking out.

This location is great for Theodore Roosevelt National Park. It is clean and has all the new items. It is still in remodeling mode. But when finished will be 5 star.

Weird place. Check-in only by electronic kiosk. No people. A closet but no hangers or bar to hang them on. A place for in-room coffee but no machine or packets. The manager twice told us the hotel didn’t provide breakfast. In the morning, there were omelette, sausages, hash browns, bagels, cereal and yogurt. As I said: Weird. Otherwise, great bed, great shower, two big TVs, and tasty coffee in lobby.

We walked into our room no refrigerator no coffee pot the soap dispenser was filled with water and the lotion one to. When we checked in we were told that we would not have continental breakfast because that was reserved for a special group of people. We asked for a different room and she said they were booked. When I came down Saturday morning a man was sitting in the breakfast room eating. I said are u here with a special group that I was told that there was no breakfast.. He told me no and put up his hands. We packed our bags and left. We will never be back there again.

AVOID! Do NOT rent kitchenette Room 122, which is right next to a loud and noisy mechanical room: It’s like having your bed next to a table saw running off and on through the night. This room is uninhabitable. It was horrible, we didn’t understand how bad it was until later in the evening. When I called the owner in the morning (because there is never anyone at the front desk) and complained. He told me that I was ruining his morning and refused to reimburse me for this. He was a complete jerk. We drove 12 hours to get here and spent a lot for this vacation. A decent nights sleep is the bare minimum for a hotel to provide. We ended up leaving a night early. The hotel is nice, the owner is not. I would never return. By the way, I never complain about hotel rooms (most people are too whiny) or fill these out, but I want someone to learn from my mistake.

No one it at the front desk to greet you. I have to check in on computer and since I was 5 minutes early it asked me to pay an extra which I did and when I finished checking in it was supposed to give me a keycard. It did not give me a keycard, called someone from the phone on the wall, he said for me to give him a couple of minutes, luckily an employee had just came to work and finished by providing me with a key, by that time it was already 3:04pm, so I asked he if I can get the extra amount back that I agreed to for checking in early, but since computer did not give me a keycard. She said there is nothing she could do for me, I would have to talk to owner, but he was not there… I am old school and still feel that great customer/ guest service means everything. Obviously they do not
