Clean room

Very efficient and comfortable property. We had everything we needed to fix dinner and breakfast. Very comfortable beds - above average. Owner very nice over the phone. In the middle of some great views of Iceland itself.

We stayed here for two nights, great location property needs better upkeep and cleanliness, lots of bugs inside, staff was not very helpful and communicated poorly about how to access the property. Overall 3 out of 5 at best.

Absolutely great. The pictures don’t do the property justice. Very spacious, spotless clean, totally fell in love with the floors. The sauna and tub were spectacular, got some amazing aurora views while relaxing in both. The neighborhood was great, with multiple stores like Bónus just a few minutes away. The owner was super friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel and staff. The only issue was the lack of street parking in the evenings (the hotel doesn’t have dedicated parking). It’s in downtown with a lot of shops, which makes it convenient for shopping but tricky to find parking.

These globes are super cute and in a lovely area. Unfortunately, that was about all we could say. They aren’t as private as we hoped; you could clearly see into the others’ globes if the curtains were open. And if the curtains are closed, then you lose the point of staying in a place like this. Additionally, the outlets and lights were not working in the kitchen and bed area, leaving the only working outlets to the entryway. The front door did not have a spare key, like our instructions noted. The front door is all glass with no option to cover it, so you could clearly see into the unit. When we contacted the staff about the malfunctioning outlets and lights, we never heard back aside from a “try resetting the breaker.” We tried that twice, for the record. It’s been three weeks and we still haven’t heard from the property, nor have they responded to Hotels.com. Overall not a location we would repeat; unfortunately we couldn’t stay there the whole reservation.

We got upgraded to the studio room and it was the best because we could see the aurora and the stars right from our room so i highly recommend booking the studio rooms for that. Additionally, we loved the hot tub and sauna amenity it was perfect after a long day of sight seeing. Breakfast was also super good and staff were really nice throughout :)

This property is in a lovely spot with beautiful views. It’s unique in that it has duplex little cabins that are cozy. The restaurant on site had a great dinner but mediocre breakfast- not at all what you would expect at a luxury-priced European hotel. The room had no amenities such as a robe, or lotion, water bottles, or places for suitcases. The very expensive price should come with a few extras to make you feel like the price is worth it.
