What a lovely hotel. Our room was spacious, the bed so comfortable with excellent linens. Personnel couldn’t do enough for you and the breakfast was excellent. Plan to come back and stay longer.

The location is amazing for exploring the city. The rooms are comparable to your budget hotel: foam mattresses for beds, body towels that could pass for a hand towels, no access to water (hot water in the breakfast area), no microwave or fridge like a hostel would be as they have an onsite bar/snack kitchen. Plenty of “work” space but limited outlets. Walls are thin. Get a room away from the communal toilet/showers as you will hear it slamming all night.

excellent room and staff were great, also had the breakfast included with the room which was fab! easy drive into Dublin or the surrounding areas for exploring as long as you have a car.

A great stay in a historic hotel. It's right next to the Irish parliament and the bar and restaurant is a frequent watering hole for politicians. It is very nicely situated for tourists, with most of the major attractions within a 15 minute walk. The rooms are quaint and a little small by North American standards, but this is a 150+ year old building...
