The staff were very friendly and helpful . Room was spotless and the view breathtaking. The manager was kind enough to provide us with a list of local spots for dinner. We ate supper twice at the Grand Hotel Bistro in Dorrigo and it did not disappoint. The food was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great place to stay if you like nice mountain views and easy access to Dorrigo National Park. The room was very comfortable, with two recliners and an electric blanket on the bed.

Disappointed with retreat. Firstly they advertised kitchenette. There was not even a knife to cut a tomato. Also a BBQ can be used for a FEE. Shower head has no pressure and you have to waste 5 minutes of water just trying regulate the temperature.

The location is superb with stunning mountain views from the beautiful garden in front of each of the rooms. The kids loved the deer. The kitchenette ammenities make it easy to enjoy meals at the room, it even had a single burner hot plate. The layout of beds was ideal for us with two children - 3 single beds in the bedroom and a queen bed in the living area.The close proximity to the national park is perfect. The contactless check-in and check-out is easy and quick. Loved our stay - thank you
