Not bad for a short term stay. Staff was friendly, helpful. I was there for mainly football so it was perfect, short walk to Dortmund Markt where they had a fall festival which was super.

Great location. Staff were very friendly and wonderful. Condition of hotel is extremely outdated and uncomfortable. Very expensive for what it was.

Room was nowhere near the actual hotel, parking was also nowhere near. Loads of noise in the middle of the night people shouting and screaming within the hotel gated area.

The staff is extremely polite, but the WiFi wasn't working and the rooms were a bit too hot, overall it's a decent hotel but not for this price.

FF&E Hotel Carlton March 2020

Hotel was basic, staff friendly, breakfast good, wifi didn't work, room basic and old fashioned, but very clean. WC and shower along corridor. For the price it was good. My only complaint was noise from outside, as it was Saturday night and there were people being people until the early hours. Lots of bars nearby if that's your thing.

I thought there was a private bathroom in my room but there were a few share-bathroom on 2nd and 4th floor. As a female traveler, I didn't feel safe and secure when I need to share bathroom with the others.
