The breakfasts were amazing, a lot of choice, not just the usual standard british breakfast. The staff were very good. The owners was very helpful when we had a medical emergency. The hotel is well located with a short walk to Douglas beach and the shops within easy reach. The only drawback for us was the stairs. There were a lot of them up to our room and no lift, but apart from that we had a lovely stay.

The location was good - a little way up the hill and near the end of the horse drawn tram. The room was relatively cool despite the heatwave and no air conditioning. Like the majority of accommodation places in Douglas, the hotel was a relatively narrow building with many floors and no lift, so be prepared for stair climbing! The breakfast was superb with so much choice. The cooked part was cooked to order so was always very fresh. We would recommend staying there.

Attentive, friendly staff. Kevin was great along with the breakfast and cleaning staff. Good, central location. Clean, well maintained rooms. Too much peripheral noise. Loud talking and snoring heard through walls of neighboring rooms. Some sort of sewer flushing pipe/drain in courtyard outside our window whooshed frequently.
