It's comfortable for my business travel close to the organization as well as the price point always great. It's an older building, while clean and decorated well for holidays. I will stay again.

To whom it may concern: Iā€™m originally from Delaware but I now live in Maryland. I came to this hotel since I had to attend a class in the area for the entire weekend. As soon as I checked in, I inquired to multiple people about valet. I was told that there is no valet and that the hotel does not have valet personnel employed but you have designated parking spots and lots for valet. I then proceeded to check-in which the check-in personnel were not friendly or welcoming at all nor was I given instructions on elevator location, checkout times it was almost like the service of a motel. If I wanted motel treatment, I wouldā€™ve stayed in a motel. Then when I went to my email it reads Ballyā€™s Dover Downs Casino Resort. I went to Royal Prime restaurant with my 7pm reservation and the waitress/server was not very welcoming nor friendly. I actually spent a significant amount for money to award these amenities and to have a great experience and am disheartened that this did not happen during my stay. My recommendation is, if youā€™d like to give the feel of a ā€œresortā€ like what is in the name of your establishment, it better suits your business to give the service that comes along with having a ā€œresortā€.

I arrived at 3pm to check-in and was told that the room was ready but needed the final inspection which should take about 30 minutes. I never received a call saying the room was ready. I went back to the counter at 3:53pm and was told it was ready. I would have liked more if I was originally told that the room wasn't ready and I needed to wait until 4pm. Forgot to mention that I watched other customers get their room keys before 4.

This is a good deal for a hotel room in the area. Nice room, comfortable bed, large tv and all in good condition. After unpacking I went into the bathroom to find about 3 inches of water in the sink with whiskers floating in it. Ok, I'll let them know, no biggie, stuff happens. On my way out that evening I told a man at the reception desk about it and he said "oh, that's awful, I'll make a note of it". No "I'll send someone to clean that", no " we're so sorry, let me comp your room" no "let me give you dinner on us" not even "here's a voucher for your next stay". Nothing at all. A good reminder that Bally is a gaming and entertainment company first and the hospitality element of their business is secondary for them.
