This was an odd property, more like a hostile or a room rental in a person's home than a hotel, but it served my needs, it was clean, safe, and was conveniently located for being far from Oslo (only a 10 minute direct train to downtown). My only issue was that I didn't receive any the check-in instructions with the key box code prior to my arrival; the issue was addressed quickly, but I had to make an international call (since I live in the US) to resolve it. I would consider staying here again.

Vi kom med hund å ved huset vårt var det ordnet med egen hunde-krok for å binde hunden. Det eneste dame var at internettet er litt svakt.Så da vi skulle se Vm-kamp med Norge-England, gikk det helt i stå. Deilig uteområde for både hund og mennesker.Vi har kost oss.masse og kommer helt sikkert igjen.

Very friendly staff, great breakfast.

The hotel feels overcrowded, and you notice it in every area. Breakfast is tasty, but the dining room is chaotic, with far too little space for the number of guests. You’re constantly bumping into other people. The staff work hard and efficiently, but it’s clear the facilities are simply too small for the hotel’s capacity. The lifts are another major issue, with long waits throughout the day. The hotel also seems to have agreements with airlines and cruise companies, so large groups arrive at the same time, making the common areas even more crowded. If you try to use the stairs instead, you’ll often find the doors locked. The spa is also much too small for a hotel of this size. It was consistently overcrowded, with children occupying most of the facilities, even during the adults-only hours. The atmosphere is another downside. It contrasts sharply with the peaceful character of the city. At night, loud music fills the hotel when all you want after a day of sightseeing is somewhere quiet to relax. The room was small, with no wardrobe and very little space to store your belongings. It was filled with decorative items that try to create a cosy feel but end up taking away valuable space. Housekeeping could also be improved. There are very few places to sit in the lobby, making it feel uncomfortable, and the entrance feels more like you’re walking into a shopping centre than a hotel. The location is convenient, with good transport links and easy access to the main tourist attracti

Pros: Great staff, nice concept with meals included, and an excellent location. Cons: Poor gym with no working AC (which is also missing in my room). The neighborhood is quite noisy. The work desk is super small, and the internet connection is slow.
