Building is set up in a bizarre way. Confusing and long walk back to the room. We booked a suite which was extremely depressingly dark. (They had to give us a new room, due to the fact that there was excrement still in the toilet of the original room.) Bathroom was a very awkward set up, with zero chance for any privacy. Staff was rude and many spoke zero English (at least pretended not to).

Good but no service

The hotel is very well located in the touristic heart of Dresden The room assigned was big and comfortable, oriented to the internal yard of the block The bad experience was around cleaning service, it did not happen, apparently some internal misunderstanding/ lack of control on the employees delivering it. Manager quickly reacted offering fresh towels, soap, paper and even some courtesy card for the bar.

Fabulous location, in Altstadt, all sites walkable and public transportation is right across the street. Spacious room, plenty of closet and drawer space, nice bathroom. The heating-cooling control is a little difficult to figure out: you can only go 3 degrees Celsius cooler or warmer than the hotel’s preset, whatever that happens to be! Our room was cold upon arrival but had warmed up when we came back for the night. Definitely a minor issue, highly recommend the hotel.

I had an excellent stay at Star G Premium Dresden! The hotel was conveniently located to shops, restaurants, and attractions. The room clean with all the basic amenities. The check in and staff were great! I would highly recommend the Star G Premium hotel in Dresden.

Location is great. Lots of restaurants and other facilities nearby. On arrival, the room was not as clean as it should be, the bed was very firm, had to request a second pillow, the WiFi was not good enough and only allowed 2 free coffee pods for the room for a 4 night stay (available to purchase from reception or a nearby supermarket).

Hotel very clean, big rooms , big beds, very friendly at the reception, and especially thank you to Marko, very friendly, he reserved a taxi to the airport and most of all for all the services he give us. Prime location , close to restaurants, malls, and attractions.

Overall and for the price it was a good deal I'm hoping they do more in regards to my room for instance. Yes it was brand spanking new, clean all that. But the room seemed unfinished. A few pieces of something for the walls and a few additional pieces of furniture would make it welcoming. The bathroom, I was put off by the broom on the wall ( I know what it was for ) and that white chair near the sink. And all the pull down railings around the toilet. Those two points gave the idea it was for an old age home. Also, the mini frig was not working. I did tell the night staff about it. Finally the hallways are borderline spooky dull colors not great lighting. . It seems like the renovations are still in progress.

The rooms are very spacious and comfortable but the heating was too hot. Also they only provided 1 large towel per person, there were no hand towels. They provided one bottle of water free of charge, it would have been nice one bottle per guest. Also they should either provide more coffee capsules or the option to buy more.
