Although the property is in the prime spot for downtown, it lacked service & personality. We had power issues (the power blocks were turned off, fridge, coffee maker, microwave & tv) but we figured it out (by crawling under & around furniture). As well as the air conditioner was off & we had to figure that out & how it worked. When mentioned (nicely) to the front desk, we were told that it wasnt that big of an issue. The room was very dated. The walls were peeling & the flooring was taped. Highly disappointing.

There was an old man sitting in our room when we opened the door (thankfully I wasn’t by myself). His key card worked on two rooms, so that’s not ideal. And ours does not lock properly.

The building old but rooms are clean staff is not friendly.
Price worthy location, the room was neat. The breakfast is super appreciated specially since early mornings are a must to visit places around. The lady who welcomed us was very sweet, friendly and helpful. Grateful for this practical, no bs, good location to stay.
Room was fine. Staff was an absolute nightmare. Smoke alarm went off in our room twice. Told staff and were told we were all lying(5 of us). Stormed into our room still calling us all liars then took the smoke alarm down. It went off in his hands. As he was walking out of the room leaving us with no smoke detector at all, he was still calling us liars
Old hotel, the breakfast was pittyful. The staff was helpful in accommodating a spot for my motorcycle and trailer. AFor that I'm happy...but expensive for what you get. It needs a complete makeover. Very limited parking

One night stay for two with a dog. Easy check in, parking on the property, clean room and breakfast included. Would stay again.
On check in the attendant was rude and flippant with me. I just passed it off as a bad day for him. He was sullen and so we stopped talking to each other. We arrived the next morning to have breakfast and was told by a female attendant. When I told her that the breakfast time was not conveyed to us she immediately told us what I said wasn’t true. Now I am seeing a pattern of rudeness and told her she was wrong and the person who checked us in did not tell us the time and she wasn’t there so how could she deny it, She continued to argue so I told my husband to just ignore it and we would write it all in the review. As we were leaving to go to the local church, the attendant from the previous day started to yell and swear at us that he didn’t care “a f*+# about our review”. At this point I am really feeling concerned about our safety and the safety of our stuff in the room so I called the booking agency so that we could get out of there as quickly as possible. When we returned to get our stuff there was no one behind the desk so I picked up the phone and was told to put the room card in the container on the desk and leave. We did - as fast as possible. We had just stayed at an Econo lodge in Winnipeg and it was a delightful experience so we thought we would give it a try again in Drumheller. It was an absolutely horrible experience.
A simple, traditional motel downtown. Despite aging, this motel has been meticulously maintained. The room was perfectly clean and surprisingly comfortable. Excellent value in a great spot.
Older, run down hotel. Front staff wasn't really welcoming and difficult to understand. Breakfast was supposed to be 8-10 am in the booking info but a printed sign was posted that it was 8-9 am only. Very limited options of weak coffee, cereal, yoghurt, hard boiled eggs, bagels and toast. Our room was 17 degrees, we tried to crank the heat for a few hours and it didn't warm up. We were worried it would get colder overnight so went to front desk. They didn't seem suprised and gave us a small space heater. Even on low it was overly hot but if we turned it off we would be cold so overall was not a pleasant stay. Lots of sirens went all night and even as we left in the morning. Shower head was broken and sprayed in random directions. Room was clean enough and beds were comfy. Glad we only stayed the one night.
