Rooms need a makeover and there were some plumbing issues, pool is a bit of walk from the hotel, food ( breakfast, lunch and dinner ) is very limited so you may need to take a walk to the mall.

2nd stay at Dukes. And again did not disappoint. From the staff that greet you from when you arrive at the front of us to the staff that clean rooms. Fantastic service. The staff on the entrance are just amazing always eager to help with your shopping not just getting out the car but carrying it to your room brilliant. Breakfast staff and cooks are equally as good. The room we were in (414) was definitely not delux neither did it have any kind of view city or otherwise, just a view straight into an apartment building. Room was dark even with lights on. The shower in the bath configuration without a shower curtain just a glass partition that did not even meet the bath meant that the floor flooded extensively. I dread to think of the damage to whatever area was below us. The writing on the power panels meant we had to guess what turned on what. Considering this hotel classes itself as Luxury VIP access makes me wonder where it has gotten it’s reviews from

First time around had a good stay however this time was different. Nothing worked in my room. The light switches had to get replaced the iron wasn’t working or the TV remote. While they addressed the issue all I got was a mere sorry for the inconvenience. Even at breakfast had certain type of people get seated at a table for two who came after me while I was made to wait for a table for one.

Some of the staff were not friendly. We were passed by in the dining room. Front desk was okay. Dining experience HORRIBLE!!! I believe that the staff was more attentive to certain race groups.

A beautiful hotel, fabulous staff, great gym, access to a private beach, infinity pool and lazy river! The only thing that was annoying was the pool bars not being linked to the hotel so no happy hour prices when sunbathing but also not being able to bring your own food & drink out. We still had a fabulous time, the indoor pool area was lovely foo
