There were a few issues I had whilst staying at the hotel. I had no hot water so the first shower was freezing cold. However as soon as i reported it someone came and fixed it. The next thing was access to my room. The key card intermittently worked and then on final night did not work altogether which being late at night was not something you want to wait for security to then come and fix it. However there is alot of good parts for instance the staff are very warm, respectful and courteous. Anything you want they are there. My mother had a birthday and they decorated her room with balloons and cake. It is a nice hotel and would stay there again.

Having stayed in this hotel many times, I felt that the standard has slipped. Staff were less attentive, the lazy river was green and unusable and the garden next to the pool was closed on one day for a private event meaning we could not get one of the few sun beds around the pool. The suite we had was nice with a good view over the city but the bath was tiny and quite old looking. The sofa bed was incredibly uncomfortable with a very thin mattress covering the frame. For the price of approx £500 per night it was very expensive for what was provided

Excellent 5 star hotel on The Palm. All the staff were friendly and extremely helpful, from the dining staff to the cleaning and concierge staff. Not to mention the security, cleaning and gym staff. Very clean, with a wonderful flower display in the foyer every few days or so. The dining options in the main restaurant were fabulous. We didn't put a single item in our mouths that wasn't scrumptious.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Dukes hotel, the staff couldn’t do enough for you and it is a good location on the edge of the palm. The breakfast spread was also really good. We would definitely return.
