This hotel is hidden in the parking garage of Marriott Marquis. This made it extremely difficult to hire taxi services and delayed our adventures around Dubai and surrounding cities. The hotel rooms are absolutely beautiful; however, the service is subpar. My husband’s birthday surprise in the room was embarrassing for a supposedly 5 star hotel and it was ultimately ruined due to staff not being attentive to my requests to do something special for him after noting it on booking and also four other times at the hotel the day of his birthday. He was able to guess what was going on and we didn’t go into the room until later in the night and it was in a hurry due to having to leave for the airport for our flights. I did get some accommodation due to this mishap by an understanding Asian lady. I appreciated her so much. As a travel agent, I will NOT recommend nor book from this hotel ever again. The breakfast is mediocre and overly priced at $33/day and also had limited availability as well as the location being extremely inconvenient and far from everything. The toiletries weren’t checked for content levels and this shouldn’t have been an issue in the first place. As a Hilton credit card holder/member as well, this was not a great experience for a memorable occasion.

They gave me a room that smelled like smoke when I requested and booked a smoke free room. Internet was horrible I couldn’t connect to their WiFi and the staff at the front desk would ignore you in line waiting if you don’t ask them for help right away.

Although it started on a sour note with one girl being pretty rude/short at check in and not caring/helpful or solution oriented. Even it was my birthday. I arrived after 28 hours of flying she could literally care less. Ricky jumped in later and took time to show me the facilities and follow up to see how the room was coming along (to be ready) his kindness made up for it and ensuring I received all the info possible led me to booking a spa massage which was actually fantastic and worth it. It helped me relax while having to pass the time after being awake that long. I loved how quiet this hotel was - they win best soundproof windows in the last 2 years and 10 hotels I have stayed at in Dubai! And best REAL King bed! They just need to go to a dollar store or wholesale to get Felt pads for the chairs. Every hotel does. Why not having them on the bottom of furniture is a thing still I will never know. No one likes loud scraping chairs on tile in the middle of the night or early mornings?? So I hope they get that In the restaurant too. Makes for a more peaceful overall experience when people get up.. Breakfast was amazing! Well laid out. Bathtub was beautiful and huge. Gorgeous bathrooms. Sad the washing machine wasn’t a dryer. Had to hang dry and took forever. Overall loved it! Their gym isn’t the best/small and limited but it would do. The SPA is wonderful. Nice pool lounge area. Loved the creek! Views of the Burj. Love the decor! Will be back and would recommend!
