The hotel is beautiful, well-maintained, and in an excellent location very close to the Spire and all the attractions. The reception team has be trained better - unfortunately we had a VERY negative experience during check-in. We were not given clear instructions on how to unload our car and then basically condescendingly yelled at by then reception team. Ive never experienced such a rude interaction with someone that is supposed to be helping you. They basically said it's not their responsibility to help us. Crazy. We werent going to let this terrible interaction ruin our trip, so we just moved on, but it left a VERY negative impression on us. Be clear on instructions for guests when arriving. We had a rental car that needed to be unloaded and returned. There's no place to do this and they werent helpful guiding us at all. It was ridiculous. For people with cars that arent parking st the hotel, it turns out it's apparently OK to park in a very busy bus lane (in most cities, you'd be towed/ticketed for this) or in a lane that clearly states no stopping/parking. Anyway, great hotel for the location and cleanliness, but awful interaction with reception.

The hotel was very clean and a good location to walk to Temple Bar. Make sure you pre-book parking. I booked thru Expedia and was not aware that parking had to be pre-booked. We had to park the car about 15 minutes walk away from the hotel. The girl at the reception desk was extremely rude when I asked about parking and didn’t seem friendly towards Americans. Another American working there helped us and was very friendly.

The hotel was ideal for getting around the city because it seemed to be in the hub of activity and close to all of our tour pick-up sites. The hospitality was outstanding and the excitement on Sunday, July 21 during finals for a special sporting event added a spirited feeling that we all enjoyed. The hotel was a perfect pick. My husband and I brought our two oldest grandchildren and they loved the trip, hotel and tours, too.

I recently stayed at Cassidy's Hotel in Dublin, and I am compelled to share my experience, particularly with Room 119. While the hotel itself is impeccably clean, well-kept, and beautifully decorated, my stay was far from satisfactory. Let's start with the few positives: the hotel is undeniably clean. The room smelled fresh, and the carpet was spotless. The elegant crown molding added a touch of sophistication to the decor. The restaurant, Six, deserves a mention for its accommodating staff and excellent French-speaking server who provided a fantastic dining recommendation. Our dinner was nothing short of delightful, from the appetizers to the main course and wine. However, my stay was completely ruined by the dreadful location of Room 119. Despite its cleanliness and ample supply of coffee and tea, the room's location made it the absolute worst choice for any guest. Situated on the first floor, the windows faced a backyard parking garage frequented by maintenance staff and hotel employees. The constant noise from traffic, door slamming, garbage pickup, and gates sliding open and shut was incessant and intolerable. Even the most patient guest would find it maddening.Closing the windows provided no relief, as the room was also near the exit stairs and atop a very busy area. The relentless traffic and door slamming vibrated through the walls, making any attempt at rest impossible. The view from the window was equally disappointing, opening to a dirty, mildewy roof.

Decent place- clean, nice staff. Only real problem was our room was on the ground floor next to parking lot. So without any A/C, if we wanted fresh air, we had to hear cars or smell smoke and restaurant food.

Overall great time. 1 hiccup.
Great building, great location. I think we were in a new area of the building as everything was brand new but towel racks and toilet paper holder fell off the wall as I don’t think they were installed correctly, but worked. The only real issue was on our third day there the maids only left us 2 shower towels in the room (4 or is in room) and when I called to get more they said we don’t have any available, we can have hand towels… how am I supposed to dry off after a shower with a hand towel?
