Beautiful property/grounds. We spent a bit extra for a room with air conditioning and was worth it. Many extras in the room like amenity kits, Dyson hair dryer, nespresso machine, safe, mini fridge, large tv. Bed comfortable. Many dining options. The most outstanding in this hotel is the service, the staff are very friendly, and so helpful. Wonderful stay all around.

Castleknock Hotel with a disability
Fabulous trip. I am a wheelchair user and felt that staff gave me an excellent experience on this trip. We have stayed in the Castleknock Hotel on numerous occasions prior to my becoming disabled and wasn't treated any differently than previously. Staff were all very helpful and indeed gave us the option of an accessible room instead of the standard room we had booked. Staff in the leisure complex were also extremely helpful and gave us access to an accessible changing room very close to the swimming pool and other facilities. I would have no hesitation in returning to the hotel or in recommending it to others.

This was the last hotel of our trip and we were thrilled. The pool was great for the kids, the shareable games were excellent for entertainment and the dining was some of the best on the entire trip. The service was excellent. Although some reviews talk about the condition of the hotel, they clearly haven’t travelled around Ireland because although dated, it was well maintained.

Be careful of the room service, the notes stated 24 hr room service but when calling late received statement kitchen is closed. The hotel was nice, breakfast was just ok, states buffett but the hot food is served for you like being in a cafeteria. Temperature of food was mediocre at best. Employees were very polite. What was pretty interesting is thebneed to put your room key into a sensor inside the room so that the room lights stay on instead of turning off after 5 minutes. Love this idea as it saves electricity, more hotels should utilize this.

Our only frustration was that we unable to access food after 9:00. We had a seven hour time change with our bodies adjusting. Luckily one of your staff helped us with a pizza order.
