Wonderful Stay in Dublin

This hotel is of a high standard of comfort and cleanliness. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Access to downtown was easy via buses across the street.

The hotel is very nice with what seems like a recent remodel. Our king room was slightly larger than a typical hotel room. Came with AC and free bottles of water in the room that were restocked daily. The restuarant/bar in the lobby was decent and priced similarly to the pubs we went to in Dublin. We did not use the bus system that had a stop in front of the hotel and we definitely should have. Spent almost $250 ($20-25 each way) on cabs getting to city center aread for sightseeing buses and back to the hotel.

Room was compact and probably the dirtyest windows ever. Staff was great and parking was convenient and free. Grocery store right next door. Local pub just across the street and down an alley was perfect. Pretty easy access from the airport.

The morning staff was quite rude. We checked in late in the evening, and the front desk staff was accommodating letting us come in through a side door, since it was closer to front desk and the lifts. However, the next morning the staff did the complete opposite and made us go the long way with about 11 pieces of luggage and two small children. Morning staff was not friendly and did not even greeted us, we divided not to even stay for breakfast. The facilities main lobby did not appear very clean.

the service at the restaurant was not good, it took over a half hour for us to get our drinks, food after I asked why it was taking so long. Felt like we were overlooked!
