There are many reasons to stay at this hotel. 1/ The staff are all very friendly, professional and helpful. 2/ The morning breakfast has many options and is a great way to start the day. 3/ The property is in a great location and makes it a wonderful starting point to any adventure. 4/ The rooms are clean, comfortable and relatively quiet. There was a bar on the side of our room and we could hear the late night 'thump thump thump' of its music. This, however, is beyond the hotel's control but is something customers should be aware of. This was my third visit to Dublin. The first time I stayed in the Liberties. The second time I stayed in the Temple Bar area. This time I brought my 13 year old son with me and I wanted a hotel in a quiet yet convenient locaton. The Holiday Inn fit the bill. We were both very happy with our stay here. We spent a great time walking the city each day (we walked to the Zoo, the botanical gardens, Guiness, etc) and the hotel was a wonderful place to end up at each night. The staff were all quiet suberb. We would definitely stay here again the next time we are in Dublin.

What a welcome!

From my arrival the staff were so friendly and helpful I got my room right away. The hotel is very secure and is located on O’Connell Street which is a major street in the center of Dublin. I would stay here in a heartbeat again!

Mum daughter 2 night stay hotel was lovely and right close to transport shops night life. Staf friendly and helpful. Left early morning to fly home with a lovely bag of breakfast goodies.

The property itself was clean. We found the city centre to be dirty as a whole though, with garbage in the street. The room was serviceable but felt cramped - You had to close the bathroom door to use the toilet. Staff were hit or miss - some were very helpful and kind, others felt dismissive. The breakfast had lots of selections, more than I’ve seen elsewhere. There was a marathon outside the location on the day of checkout that closed down the street and required 10 minutes of walking to get a cab or bus. There was no warning or heads up from the hotel which I thought was poor. We had to rush morning of and almost missed our train. I’m sure they were aware before hand and could have let us know at check in so we could have been prepared. Dragging our luggage through the city centre while rushing to find an area we could call a ride was not ideal. Overall, it was okay. Not the worst place, not the best.

Spent 3 nights and wow were we impressed. From the moment we walked into the hotel until we checked out the staff were extraordinary. Our flight was early so were welcomed to leave our luggage at the hotel AND have breakfast before we even checked in. The breakfast was amazing! Tons of options and the quality was better than restaurant. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were a great size. Location was perfect for anyone using public transportation, especially for first time visitors looking to access all the popular attractions. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

At check in we were kept waiting for 15 minutes whilst one of the checkin personnel acted as concierge for a very selfish couple. The staff member gave advice, booked tickets whilst several of us were kept waiting and unable to check in.

Don’t stay here. After I left and arrived back in the UK I notice I have been charged €150 euros, I called them and they are trying to tell me they are charging me for smoking in the room, (which did not happen) said they will send me photos of proof and I have waited all day and received nothing and my messages are now being ignored. Avoid this hotel.

This is a great location with a friendly, helpful staff. Included is a great breakfast. The rooms are small, but very clean with comfortable beds and modern baths. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel in general it’s ok. Staff customer service is basic, don’t fall for the hop on hop off bus scam! They offer to you when checking in and it was the worse thing you could do! There’s only 2-3 buses available and they’re always falling behind schedule so you are better off walking to avoid hours of waiting for the bus. The breakfast option is basic and overrated, every day is the same so it’s not worth the extra money. We figured out there are much better options to stay than this hotel!

The noise was very loud from the street. You would think they would have put double paned windows as it is right on the main street. I was told my people that live in Ireland that this particular area is not safe at night.
