Still one of my all-time favorite hotels
Such a great experience. I stayed here on my first trip to Dublin in 2006 and remembered the Gresham as being genteel and grand and fabulous. It didn’t disappoint the second time. The condition of the room & common areas was fabulous & the staff is out of this world.

This hotel was our last stay on our 17 day tour of Ireland. The lobby is quite nice. Staff greeted you and helped with luggage. The checkin was efficient. We originally had a problem with our keys not working, luckily the bellman delivering our luggage was able to let us in. The breakfast was served in two areas on the main level. They didn't take a reservation time for you, so you were lucky if you found a seat during the busy morning rush. The food was good. A lot of variety and the food was hot. It was a pleasant experience. This hotel is big, I mean really big and it was recently renovated. The hallways are wide, big enough to drive a Mini Cooper down. The floors were not carpeted rather faux hardwood in texture. This was great for taking luggage to the elevator on the way out of the hotel. I have to say though, our room was 558 and it was the farthest room on that floor in the corner of the hotel. I absolutely felt that because we used a 3rd party site for booking the room and because we got a great price, we were shoved into the back of the hotel and the guests that spent money on their website rate for a room, were given a better size and location. We went downstairs to see if we could change rooms and we couldn't. Needless to say, the front desk sent us a bottle of wine for the inconvenience. Which was nice. Ask to not stay in 558.

Hotel is a beautiful property in a great location in the city Centre and the breakfast options were great with attentive wait staff. The rooms were small, vinyl flooring but clean and comfortable bed.

Great location to walk anywhere in Dublin. Hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We arrived at 1030 am and they were able to get us into our room upon arrival which was amazing after a long evening flight. Highly recommend!

I did not appreciate the construction that was happening right outside our room door. This made it incredibly hard to sleep during the day to try to overcome the jetlag. I also found the constant noise from the people on the sidewalk below was not acceptable and happened all day and well into the night.

Totally not up to the standard of this level of a hotel. Cannot understand why it so highly rated. New bathrooms but terrible amenities. Tiny rooms and limited outlets. Closets did not work properly etc. Too many better options around.
