I have stayed in the Gresham many years ago and the decor and ambience has not changed one bit. The general standards are still very high

Great hotel and location
From entering the hotel, there was a welcoming atmosphere. Reception staff were friendly and efficient. Staff will approach and ask if assistance is needed. My room, on the fifth floor, was well-appointed and very clean and comfortable. Tea/coffee-making facility was available in room, as was ironing board. The breakfast selection was very good; again, staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is centrally located for shopping and dining; great for walking or there is public transport outside the hotel door. I would highly recommend a stay in Riu Plaza, the Gresham.

I stayed at the Riu Plaza The Gresham for three nights with my partner. The location was perfect - a 5-10 min walk to the river and a few more minutes for the Temple Bar area. 10-15 mins to the express bus stop for Dublin Airport. The hotel itself is very well presented and clean, the buffet breakfast had good quality offerings and a selection of choice for all tastes and preferences. Staff were professional, helpful and friendly. The check-in/check-out process was very smooth. We did make one request from the concierge which was not fulfilled and felt awkward asking again so just left it, but outside of that, everything went well.

Fabulous! Friendly helpful check-in staff. Room was available from 9am - we only arrived to ask to store our luggage until check-in but we were able to have room access straight away. Fantastic facilities, lovely room with a super comfy bed and excellent bathroom. Breakfast plentiful & delicious. We will return, thank you!

The rooms are fairly nice and clean. There is a breakfast buffet that was included, which was really nice. There is no parking and no way to park briefly and check in. This hotel is incredibly loud. I think part of it was clientele, but primarily the doors for the rooms naturally slam. There is a gap between the floor and the doors to the rooms as well. We were waking up all night from people going in and out of their rooms. Very loud overall.

Good hotel with one huge disadvantage.
Nice room, nice bed, good breakfast (although very busy around the weekend) and bad sleep. When people walk or talk in the corridor, it sounds like they are in your room and wake you up. When it's dark, you can see light coming in all around the door. It's a pity for an otherwise very good hotel.

There was some dust on the top of the bed and dropping down to the bed. The room seemed a bit cold mainly bathroom,heater will be good in winter months. There was only a smaller window facing to the inside court,so not a lot natural light. The bed/pillows and matress was very comfortable. Breakfast had a large selection of nuts and seeds.Coffe ok only from the machine.

My sister and I enjoyed our stay. The staff was particularly Helpful and pleasant. When our phone and TV wasn't working Camilo A. came to our room and quickly resolved both issues with a courteous and sincere effort to get it taken care of as quickly as possible. Everyone at the checkin desk was exceptionally experienced.

This is an excellent choice for a long weekend. Highlights were the staff, all of whom were exceptional, breakfast service, everything was delicious standard of the hotel and location. The airport bus drops you at the front door. Could do better on the floor cleaning in the rooms, our bathroom drain was a bit smelly and the towels, although very white and clean, covered us in fluff and didn’t dry you properly! (Suspect new towels that hadn’t had the essential first wash!) wouldn’t stop me from returning. This hotel offers excellent value for money.

Great frontage to O'Connell Street, very handy for Dublin airport and bus stops outside hotel. Contemporary interior quite soulless but staff friendly, food as expected for buffet. Our kind size superior room was comfortable but room wasn't soundproofed so noise from corridor was annoying at times but bearable. That was mainly fault but otherwise good for a hotel chain and staff definitely helpful and nice.
