Well-located just on the edge of Temple Bar. Bar area great, staff really friendly and willing to help with queries.
Nice touch was the Coldplay cupcakes and bucks fizz in the afternoon during the Coldplay tour as that was the reason we were staying. Breakfast was also great, with lots of hot and cold food options.
We had a triple room, which was OK. Beds a bit too soft, with noisy springs. Also the bathroom door is on a heavy spring, which made it impossible to go to the toilet in the middle of the night without waking up others in the room.
Shampoo and shower gel are hand pumps which required about 40 pumps before you had enough to wash your hair/body. Despite requesting twice for this to be fixed it never was.
Had one dinner at the hotel, which was very disappointing. They only had one red wine out of about 10 listed, none of the rosé and three out of 10 of the white wine options. No guacamole for the nachos, so we had to rethink our dinner choices. This was on a Saturday night in August, so a bit strange to say the least. It seems like the dining room in the hotel was trying to function on minimal operating cost.
